BATUMI SEASIDE TOUR
Day 1 Highlights:
Batumi is situated on the Black Sea coastline, the "Pearl of the Black Sea" as it is often called, is administrative center of Ajara. It is a place of numerous architectural innova- tions and home to picturesque beaches. Visitors especially admire the region's pristine and unaltered nature. Day 3 Highlights:
You might not know it, but many discoveries have led the world to believe that Georgia is the birthplace of wine. It has oldest unbroken tradition of wine making using unique Qvevri – the pot-bellied clay amphora lined with beeswax and buried in the earth. This method, developed 8 000 years ago, has not been abandoned since, moreover it remains the best practice and is now protected by UNESCO. So if you are looking for fascinating and intriguing tasting adventure, wine tastings at local wine cellar is an absolute must.
Day 4 Highlights:
Georgia is exceptionally rich in natural beauty. The country is best remembered as the land of the legendary Golden Fleece, where Jason and the Argonauts arrived in search of this precious trophy. You may not believe in legends but you will surely be amazed by the beauty of Prometheus Carst Cave in Imereti. Stalactites, stalagmites, petrified stone waterfalls. Underground River and lake make a perfect atmosphere for a mysterious boat ride in the cave. Martvili Canyon is another breathtaking place to visit, if you want to enjoy the scen- ery, its waterfalls and a boat trip in the river with deep green, crystal transparent color.
