The village of Juta is one of the highest settlements (2200 m) in the municipality of Kazbegi, and is located 24 km from Stepantsminda (8 km of paved road, and the remainder is a dirt road). The Chaukhi mountain range, located near the village, is situated on the main ridge of the Caucasus mountain range, at the source of the river Bakurkhevi.  

Unesco Protected site of Mtskheta town is overlooking the conjunction of two rivers. The historic churches of Mtskheta, former capital of Georgia, are outstanding examples of medieval religious architecture in the Caucasus. They show the high artistic and cultural level attained by this ancient kingdom. 

Kakheti region, Proclaimed by archaeologists to be the “Cradle of Wine” is the oldest wine-producing region in the world. Kakheti is the land of hospitable, open-hearted people that live surrounded by monasteries, ancient castles and glorious churches. The region is characterized by its unique vine grape varieties, countryside and gorgeous Caucasus mountains ranges and Alazany Valley.

Famous ski resort Gudauri is situated among some of the highest mountains in Europe at an elevation of 2,200 meters (7,200 ft.) above the sea level. It is also the largest winter resort in Georgia with more than 70 km of marked trails suitable for pro-riders and beginners. Large quantities of natural snow make the surrounding peaks on the border between Europe and Asia an ideal place for winter sport enthusiasts.
